We practice both Seitei Jodo and Shinto Muso Ryu Jodo

Seitei Jodo
In 1968 the All Japan Kendo Federation recognized the importance of Jodo and felt that its study would be beneficial to the students of Kendo and Iaido. Accordingly, 12 representative forms were taken from the Shindo Muso Ryu to form The All Japan Kendo Federations standard Jodo forms.

Kihon
There are 12 basic techniques practiced solo (Tandoku dosa) and in pairs (Sotai dosa):

Kata
There are Twelve Kata in Seitei Jodo. The techniques (Kata) At their simplest involve a single attack from the swordsman with an avoidance Manoeuvre and a counter attack, either a thrust or a strike from the Jo. The more complex techniques comprise multiple attacks and defensive moves from the sword and Jo.

Shinto Muso Ryu Jodo
Shintō Musō-ryū, or Shindō Musō-ryū (神道夢想流) is a traditional school (koryū) of the Japanese martial art of jōjutsu, or the art of wielding the short staff (jō).
The Shintō Musō-ryū system holds approximately 64 jō kata divided into several series.

Omote (表) is the first series of jo-kata

The system includes teachings of other weapon systems which are contained in Shintō Musō-ryū as auxiliary arts (Fuzoku ryuha). These are taught to senior students.
